Aleister Black vs. Tony Nese
Aleister Black locks Nese’s arm. Tony Nese counters with an arm lock of his own. Black counters with an arm drag. They keep close to each other and maintain some ground-based offense. They end up in a stalemate until Black swiftly kicks Nese under his legs. Nese rolls out of the ring and Black backflips off the ropes and sits down in his signature pose.
Nese gets back into the ring and delivers a flurry of punches to Black and hooks Black’s neck onto the ropes. He executes a Moonsault off the top rope but Black moves out of the way. Black then delivers knee strikes to Nese and a jumping knee to knock Nese out. He then lifts up Nese with his foot and delivers a Black Mass to fade Nese to black for the three-count.
Results: Aleister Black
Grade: 1.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: Some decent ground based offense and breaking down of defenses in this match. But still a pretty basic match. Black was inevitably winning but it was not that special. The camera then shifts to Buddy Murphy in a backstage interview with Charly Caruso and he asserts that Black should calm down and guarantees that he will be the one to calm him down.
Andrade vs. Eric Young
Andrade and Eric Young grapple each other. Andrade Irish whips Young to the corner and delivers a strong jumping knee to him in the corner. Young goes to the top rope. Andrade tries to stop Young on the top rope but Young counters and delivers an Elbow Drop to Andrade from the top rope for the two-count.
Andrade comes back from this offense and delivers a dropkick to Young for the two-count. He locks Young in an arm lock. Young counters the lock and starts to rally back with clotheslines and a neckbreaker for the two-count.
Young is going for the elbow again, but Andrade stops him this time and charges with the Double Knees in the corner and the Hammerlock DDT for the three-count. The ref can count to 100. It’s over. Buenas noches, Eric Young.
Results: Andrade
Grade: 2.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: Unlike most squash matches, this match really got the crowd on Eric Young’s side. Andrade is honestly an incredible talent in the ring because he got Eric Young over after months of in-ring activity for him. Nonetheless, it was inevitable that Andrade was going to win this match and he already looks like championship material.
R-Truth then runs out to the arena with the 24/7 Championship and gets pinned by Kyle Busch for the three-count. Just like that, we have a new 24/7 Champion. Camera shifts to Street Profits advertising Cyber Monday sales for the WWE. Seth Rollins is then questioned by Charly Caruso as to why he did not help Owens when he got attacked by AOP.
Charly follows up with asking if his apology was sincere or not. Rollins then victimizes himself by saying that everyone is a critic while he is the only one who has the guts to be a leader. Good backstage promo by Seth. The camera then shifts to Erick Rowan speaking to whatever or whoever is in his cage.
Erick Rowan vs. No Way Jose
No Way Jose’s conga line tries to peep at what could be under Rowan’s pen. Erick Rowan gets angry and chases the conga line out of the arena. He then focuses on No Way Jose and delivers a running crossbody to him outside the ring. He screams that no one should touch his stuff.
Rowan tosses Jose back into the ring and delivers a running clothesline and two claw clotheslines for the three-count. Easy squash for Rowan.
Results: Erick Rowan
Grade: 1.5/5.0 Stars
Analysis: These superstars in the Raw locker room are way too nosy. They need to mind their own business and let Rowan live his life. He probably just has an imaginary friend in that pen, like R-Truth when he had Little Jimmy. As for the match, it was a simple squash. Nothing epic, but still quite entertaining. Sarah Schreiber then questions Rowan what’s in the cage backstage and Rowan refuses to answer. Again, nosy.
