Sasha Banks is already a living legend in WWE, and she has her eyes on another GOAT as her dream opponent for 2020.

WWE superstar Sasha Banks has made her admiration for Meiko Satomura known in the past.

In fact, during her break from WWE after WrestleMania 35, she was spotted training at the Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling dojo in July. Sendai Girls is run and founded by Satomura, who is the most legendary figure in Joshi wrestling today.

Banks recently tweeted her dream opponent for 2020, and pro wrestling fans should not be surprised to see that it’s Meiko. Because, yes, she should honestly be a dream opponent for every wrestler on the planet. (Go back and watch her Pro Wrestling EVE match with Kay Lee Ray or her Mae Young Classic and Pro Wrestling EVE matches with Toni Storm if you don’t believe me.)

Satomura competed in WWE at the second Mae Young Classic, putting over future NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm in the semifinals.

And watching her put over Banks one day in the ring would be a dream come true. Banks is an incredible wrestler with four Raw Women’s Championships on her resume and has a realistic shot at a huge WrestleMania 36 match after a Royal Rumble victory in 2020.

The Legit Boss lives for big matches and moments, and she always has the greatest of admiration for legends of the business like Satomura. If WWE were to ever bring Satomura back in any capacity and the stars would align, Banks would be THE dream opponent for the current Progress Women’s Championship.

Banks, who just wants to wrestle the best of the best, has asked WWE to let her wrestle with partner promotions. Progress is one of them, so, uh, as they say, never say never.

Put Banks vs. Satomura on your “dream match” list, and, if you’re wise, put it at the very top of your list. A match between these two Hall-of-Fame wrestlers would be an all-timer.

So Vince McMahon, make this happen!
