Mandy Rose (w/ Sonya Deville) vs. Alexa Bliss (w/ Nikki Cross)

Lockup to start and Bliss takes Rose down with a chokedown STO. Rose distances herself with a snapmare. Rose goes for a waistlock, but Bliss recovers with a drop toe hold. Rose regroups on the outside.

Baseball slide attempt by Bliss, but Rose dodges it to hit a high knee. Rose sends her back in the ring for a pin attempt, but gets a two count. Rose basically tortures Bliss, ripping out her eyelashes one by one (which is a creative spot, I like that).

Rose follows up with a dropkick and another knee for a pin attempt, but Bliss’ foot is

Rose attempts a Fairytale Ending, but Bliss turns it into a roll-up attempt. Rose kicks out and keeps Bliss down. She goads Bliss, saying she’ll never look like her, but Bliss grabs her by the throat, tells Rose to shut up and drops her with another STO. Initiate comeback spot.

Deville tries to cause a distraction, but gets taken out by Cross. Which allows Rose to roll her up, but Bliss kicks out and nails a Spinning DDT, followed by Twisted Bliss, for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss

Grade: B

This was actually really good. Surprisingly good at that. For Bliss’ first singles match in months, she gave a stellar performance (might be the best babyface performance I’ve seen from Bliss, as she’s finally getting into the groove of it after working heel for so long). Rose was great, too.

Backstage, Drake Maverick asks Dana Brooke about her saying she’s going on a dinner date with Batista on Wednesday’s The Bump talk show. Maverick feels rejected. “What does Dave Batista have that I don’t?”

Elias comes out strumming his guitar to say that “when words fail us, a song can provide the answers.” Elias sings about Batista is tall, a millionaire and has a better chance at getting lucky with a blow up doll. He adds that Maverick is better off using lotion and tissues.

Elias implies that he slept with Maverick’s wife, prompting the former 24/7 Champion to angrily slap Elias’ guitar and storm off. Momentarily, Elias follows after.

Back from commercial, Maverick is ranting to the crowd and calls out Elias not for a match, but for a fight. He says nobody makes a mockery out of him, his marriage, or his wife. Out comes Elias with Brooke by his side.

Elias basically manhandles Maverick by holding him back by his head and easily evading punches. He gives Maverick a spanking. He kicks Maverick to the outside, where Brooke throws Maverick back in the ring for Elias to hit Drift Away, allowing Dana Brooke to get a visual pinfall on Maverick.

Well, that was … interesting. Still not sure how to make of it, or even how to grade that one.

Elsewhere, The Miz goes searching for Bray Wyatt and wanders into a dark room, where a picture frame of Bray with Miz’s family waits for him.

“Say cheese!” Miz turns around into a Sister Abigail from Bray Wyatt. Miz later wakes up being helped to his feet by a ref.
