The Revival vs. Mustafa Ali and Shorty G vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Lucha House Party – Elimination – Winner faces New Day for their titles at TLC

Gable and Gran Metalik starts things off and Shorty G gets the upper hand with wrestling transitions, leading into an armbar. Tag to Ali, who diving stomps onto Metalik’s arm before continuing to work on it.

Metalik and Ali have a few flippy spots and seem evenly matched. Most notably, Ali hits a hurricanrana, but Metalik handsprings out of it.

Lince Dorado and Tucker tag themselves in and hit a double dropkick on each other. The Revival run in, but Dorado and Tucker dropkick them away. In a fun spot, Tucker picks Dorado up and uses him to dropkick everyone in sight.

Dorado gets out of his grasp to hit a springboard Stunner. Otis tagged in, but chaos ensues, leading to Lucha House Party diving onto everyone outside. Back in the ring, Metalik dives onto Otis, but gets caught, allowing Heavy Machinery to hit the Compactor, eliminating Lucha House Party before the commercial break.

Back from break, Gable is working over Tucker’s arm. Tucker eventually fights out of it to hit a scoop slam. Dash Wilder tags himself in to work on Tucker, but Tucker pushes him away. Gable tags back in, but Scott Dawson quickly tags himself back in immediately after.

Tucker takes out Dawson, but Tucker tags Otis, allowing Otis to hit a comeback spot. Eventually, Otis sets up The Caterpillar on Dawson and hits it, but Wilder (unbeknownst to Otis) is the legal man. Wilder lands an assisted sunset flip to eliminate Otis.

We’re down to Ali and Gable vs. Revival. Staredown in the middle as The Revival attempt the blindside the faces, but Ali and Gable don’t back down as the action spills to the outside. Revival with some thunderous chops before jaw jacking to New Day at commentary.

Ali and Gable toss The Revival into New Day. All three teams angrily jaw jack with each other. The ref tries to separate everyone, leading to another commercial break.

Back from break, Dawson has a Gory Special on Gable. Gable is able to fight out of it. Both men down, but Wilder gets the tag first. He cuts off Gable, but Shorty G recovers with a double German Suplex on both men before tagging Ali.

Superkick/German combo into a bridge, but Dawson breaks it up. Gable crossbodys Dawson to the floor. Wilder runs at Ali, but the latter kicks him in the face. Goes for his signature X-Factor, but gets clotheslined. He later goes for his Satellite DDT, but gets caught with Powerslam.

Wilder goes for a suplex, but Wilder turns it into a roll up. Ali pops up into a Satellite DDT. He goes for a 450 Splash, but Dawson saves him. Ali tags to Gable before going for a suicide dive, but gets caught by The Revival and tosses Ali over the barricade. They turn around into a senton from Gable off the apron.

In the ring, Gable goes for a moonsault, Wilder evades, but Gables lands on his feet to immediately lock in an Ankle Lock until Dawson uppercuts him from the outside. Wilder tags to Dawson, they hit the Shatter Machine and win the match. Revival vs. New Day is official for TLC.

New Day make their way up the ramp, but The Revival grab the mic to say the fun and games are over at TLC. When they win the titles, there will be no more pancakes, rainbows, “silly little gimmicks” or disgracing the Tag Titles.

“It is is a New Day no more” as they promise to take it old school and old fashioned with the tag team wrestling that brought them to the dance. After they lose at TLC, they can go to their podcast and complain about what it’s like to lose to The Revival again.

Winners: The Revival

Grade: A

Awesome action from start to finish that just escalated by the minute. The action between Ali/Gable and Revival especially was practically a five star quality match in itself. Post-match promo was great as well.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Roman Reigns about last week’s attack on Corbin, Ziggler and Roode, but Roman just says he had to handle his business. He acknowledges Corbin is bigger and stronger than him and doesn’t need Roode and Ziggler, but simply put, he can’t hang with Corbin in the ring. He vows at TLC, he’ll be the one humiliating Corbin.

Back from break, we get another Sheamus return hype package where The Celtic Warrior promises to “come home” to ravage the roster.
