Taya Valkyrie (c) vs. Jessicka Havok – Knockouts Championship match
While the latest episodes of Impact have highlighted Taya Valkyrie’s feud with her Hard to Kill challenger, Jordynne Grace, intensifying, she still has unfinished business with Jessicka Havok dating back to October. The two look to settle their differences once and for all with Taya’s title on the line.
Back on the Oct. 11 episode of Impact Wrestling, Taya first defended her title against Havok right before Bound for Glory. In fact, Havok conquered the champion so badly that she had a visual three count over her.
By all accounts, Havok should be our current Knockouts Champion today, but when she was seconds away from winning the title, Taya’s manager John E. Bravo pulled the ref out of the ring and attacked him, causing a disqualification win for Havok. But of course, titles don’t change hands over DQ.
Havok and Taya never revisited this feud or match since then as both have been wrapped up in their own storylines (Taya with Grace, Havok with a resurrected Su Yung/Suzie) but it seems as though tonight’s rematch will attempt to tie up any loose ends from their last encounter.
As such, Taya will likely retain with a more definitive (possibly clean) win over the monster.
Prediction: Taya
