AEW Hot Takes Of The Week: Moxley to join The Inner Circle?

1. Jon Moxley Should Join The Inner Circle

Jon Moxley’s character may be that he is unstable or unhinged or crazy or just a badass that doesn’t care about pain, but that doesn’t mean that he is stupid. In fact, the Jon Moxley character is one of the most intelligent characters in and out of the ring because he knows when to pick his spots and make whatever action he takes have a major impact.

So, Mox would have to realize that any match against Jericho would be a one vs five encounter with The Inner Circle in Jericho’s corner, and it doesn’t matter how tough Mox is because that is a battle he will lose every time.

Instead, why doesn’t Moxley take advantage of the opportunity laid out in front of him by Jericho and join The Inner Circle? Well, a simple reason why not would be because, as shown by his past, Moxley answers to no one and does his own thing.

However, I’m not saying that Mox should just become another one of Jericho’s lackeys. Rather, he can use this opportunity to destroy The Inner Circle from within until Jericho is on his own. Then, Mox can challenge for the AEW Championship.

With all of the egos in The Inner Circle, it shouldn’t be difficult for Mox to get them to turn on one another. He would just get in everyone’s ear, subtly, about how they are better than the others in the group and are being used by Jericho.

Hopefully, that would lead to an implosion between all of the Inner Circle member, which would leave an environment where Jon Moxley thrives: Chaos. So, I believe the next step towards a Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley AEW Championship match is Moxley actually aligning himself with Jericho (for a short period of time).
