Triple H vs Adam Cole

The leader of NXT vs The King of Kings is enough to sell this match for fans at WrestleMania 36. Adam Cole has been the most consistent talent in NXT history. In a sport where clichés get tossed around like a deep arm drag, Adam Cole is consistently raising the bar for NXT. A match with The Game at WrestleMania 36 would be an interesting story.

The story is easy to tell. Cole has done everything in NXT and he can grow frustrated with the lack of talent. As he viciously attacks a wrestler backstage, Triple H can step in get control of Cole and he can shove The Game and this would infuriate The King of Kings. Their story can be similar to WrestleMania 28, when The Undertaker wanted a match against Triple H but The King of Kings refused because it was “bad for business”. Cole can do dastardly things to taunt Triple H. Eventually, it forces Triple H to leave his post as the captain of NXT and become The Cerebral Assassin.

For the negative reputation Triple H had 15 years, he turned the corner and has put over a long list of younger talent from Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. Triple H can make Adam Cole a mega star by losing to Cole at WrestleMania 36.
