Honorable Mention: Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair can never be counted out in any matches she partakes in. She is usually the betting favorite and most certainly has a solid chance of winning the Women’s Royal Rumble this year, especially after being so close to winning it last year.

Considering that she has history with both Becky Lynch and Bayley, either Superstar would make for a fitting opponent at WrestleMania.

Although she is currently a Raw Superstar and has not been Raw Women’s Champion for a very long time, she still has some unfinished business with the new ‘dark’ Bayley ever since losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to her two months ago.

Because of Bayley, Charlotte Flair had a five day championship reign, which is the shortest championship reign in her entire career. Although Charlotte is a 10-time Women’s Champion, such an ephemeral reign has to bother her at least a little bit.

When they battled in the months of September and October, it was huggable Bayley vs. condescending Charlotte Flair. Now that their roles have evolved in the time since, an actual feud between a newly dark heel Bayley and the royal babyface Charlotte Flair could shed some light on or even revitalize both of their gimmicks.

With Bayley not battling anyone ostensibly challenging in the SmackDown Women’s Championship picture and Charlotte being utterly directionless the women’s tag team division, a one on one championship match between them on a big fight field like WrestleMania 36 or even a triple threat match with Sasha Banks included would do wonders for the SmackDown women’s division.

On a further note, it would satisfy Corey Graves to see his Queen back in the main event picture where she belongs.

Speaking of queens, let’s predict three possible winners for the Women’s Royal Rumble, starting with the current NXT Women’s Champion and Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler.
