5. NWA Returns

NWA Powerrr brought their TV show back. The show premiered on their YouTube channel and Facebook page. What makes it different is that 80’s nostalgia we all love, from the music to the studio audience.

NWA has become an option for wrestlers looking to get back on TV, like former WWE Women’s Champion Melina and former WWE Tag Team Champion Aron Stevens.

It’s also a place where you can see the historic NWA World Championship – a.k.a. “The Ten Pounds Of Gold” – up for grabs.  It has no issues with a reputation for bringing back faces from the past. The Rock N Roll Express became nine-time NWA Tag Team Champions, beating the tag team known as Wildheart.

Then, there’s the wrestler known as the Question Mark, who allegedly knows karate and teams up with Steven Daily. While he may not be someone you’d see on WWE, his character fits in well with the NWA crowd.

The show averages around 100,000 viewers each week and is the go-to show fans watch back to back with AEW Dark, which premieres on YouTube the same day. It’s the perfect position to reel in viewers already on YouTube when you think about it.
