Kairi Sane is one hell of a trooper

Asuka was not the only woman to have a strong showing during last night’s main event. We could not possibly praise Asuka’s performance without providing the same (if not more) praise for the other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Kairi Sane. Not just because of Sane’s overall performance, but for her resilience after suffering a concussion during the match.

Anyone who watched the match surely noticed Sane looked like she was knocked loopy during the match’s final moments. Such suspicions were confirmed by Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Online (per a report by The Sun) who revealed that Sane went under medical evaluation after the injury scare.

Thankfully, as Tom Colohue later revealed in a tweet, Sane’s injury was not as scary as originally speculated. He was told that she was recovering well from the injury and was feeling “cheerful enough,” if not “disappointed with herself.”

Even more reassuring, Kairi Sane tweeted a big ole thumbs up to let us all know that she’s A-OK.

We salute you, Pirate Princess.  Tougher than a bed of nails.
