Fans remember where they were when their favorite wrestler reached the pinnacle in professional wrestling. It could have been when Stone Cold Steve Austin won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 14.

Or Daniel Bryan conquering three members of Evolution at WrestleMania 30 to win the WWE Championship. It is the highest mountain to scale in professional wrestling.

2019 was full of those moments for fans. Whether it was at WrestleMania 35 or any other show this year, WWE gave fans those feel good moments that makes professional wrestling special.

Here are the five best championship wins that took place in WWE from 2019 in order from #5 to #1.

#5 – Ricochet wins the United States Championship at Stomping Grounds

From the moment he stepped in a WWE ring, Ricochet has shown unlimited potential. While his talent was known throughout the independent scene before signing with WWE, fans couldn’t wait to see how he would fare as a WWE Superstar.

Samoa Joe is another wrestler who fans were chomping at the bit to see how successful he could be under the WWE banner.

Both men have had their share of successes and setbacks in WWE. They were both able to put together an excellent match at Stomping Grounds for the United States Championship.

Their styles meshed together and their differences helped to enhance the story they told in the match. Joe was as good as advertised as a United States Champion and he helped make Ricochet look like a force to be reckon with.

It was a back and forth contest between two of the best in WWE. The crowd exploded when Ricochet won the championship because they believed in him and wanted to see him elevated as champion. The win showed fans that WWE invested in one of their favorite wrestlers.

Although his run would only last a few weeks, the match and victory highlighted Ricochet’s ability. This should not be the last time that Ricochet becomes a champion in WWE. His popularity is undeniable with the fans and this match showcased that.
