#3. Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey – WrestleMania 35

Being in the main event of WrestleMania carries its own set of expectations. When you think of any WrestleMania, you remember it based off what the main event was. This WrestleMania was no different.

This was the first WrestleMania where the main event featured women’s wrestlers, was a Winner Take All match, and was for both WWE’s Women’s Championships.

The match between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey was good, but the clunky finish stole some of the greatness that the match could have provided fans. The finish has been dissected enough times, so reviewing what happened won’t achieve much.

Sometimes in professional wrestling, what the match represented is worth more than what happens in the actual match.

Their promos and their interactions backstage were great leading up to this match. Lynch was red hot as the fan favorite who stood up to anyone in her way.

Flair showed why she is a natural villain as she portrayed the “WWE machine’s” choice for the main event of WrestleMania. Rousey was great as someone who had earned the fans respect and showed her desire to improve the women’s wrestling division.

The lasting image of WrestleMania 35 was Lynch holding up both championship belts after defeating Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania. The correct finishing sequence could have made the match better, but Lynch still showed why she deserved to be The Man.
