Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston – WrestleMania 35

This is the most recent match to take place on this list and, by proxy, perhaps it needs less of an explanation than the rest of these entries. After all, what can I say about Kofi Kingston and his monumental win that has not been said already. Hell, what can I say about Kofi Kingston and his win that I personally haven’t said and written about countless times already earlier this year?

However, that’s kind of what makes this match such a feel good one. That no matter how many times I talk about it, I never get sick of talking about it.

It was a tremendously special moment for a WWE Superstar who was overdue just for a shot at the WWE Championship (yet alone a win) after never getting a one-on-one shot. This was also special for a lot of fans for several different reasons, especially fans who look like me and were proud to call Kofi their first Africa-born WWE Champion.

It’s also a very interesting feel good match/moment in comparison to Bryan’s moment from five years earlier, since as a heel, the Bryan character used that exact same B+ player narrative against Kofi.

Watching the two matches back to back should make for interesting companion pieces, but above all else, Kofi turning WrestleMania into KofiMania was just a beauty to watch and one of this year’s all time best, feel good moments.
