5.) Bray Wyatt Won The Universal Championship on Halloween

Despite the mishap at WWE Hell in a Cell, Bray Wyatt winning the Universal Championship on Halloween was perfect timing. Not only does that holiday fit his mystique, but it was also a long time coming for WWE’s hottest act to finally hold the company’s top coveted prized possession.

Ever since debuting Firefly Funhouse and the Fiend, the WWE Universe has been fully behind Wyatt’s evolution. The WWE rightfully struck while the iron was hot and gave the WWE Universe what they wanted. As can be indicated by his top merchandise sells and successful Universal Championship reign so far, it’s safe to say that this was one of WWE’s best booking decisions.

4.) Bayley Destroyed All The Bayley Buddies

Bayley, who recently broke a SmackDown Women’s Championship record in the WWE, had an incredible heel turn in 2019 that was long overdue. When she was a babyface and still had her ponytail, her goal was to elevate the SmackDown Women’s Division.

Quite frankly, that goal remains true to this day despite her gimmick change and makeover. Bayley still continues to recognize the continuous laziness and lack of motivation in the SmackDown Women’s locker room and encourages the superstars to step up to the plate.

Nonetheless, her slaying of the Bayley Buddies and her brand new outlook on life got the entire WWE Universe on the edge of their seats.

Alongside Sasha Banks, she has truly stepped up her game and has not only made her own character interesting, but also enhanced the prestige of the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the process. Her championship reign and successful heel turn were truly one of WWE’s best booking decisions this year.
