10. Clash of Champions

There wasn’t anything particularly special about Clash of Champions, but it was a solid enough show. So if this is one of the worst three Pay Per Views out of 12 total PPVs in 2019, then this was a pretty damn good year for WWE.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose was a hidden gem from this PPV. All four women shined and put over the Women’s Tag Titles, which have now become one of the most important titles in WWE after main eventing TLC. Don’t forget how good Cross and Bliss were as champs during their reign.

Bayley’s clever win over Charlotte Flair was part of her slow-burn towards an all-out heel turn on SmackDown one month later, The Revival and The New Day had another good match, Kofi Kingston vanquished Randy Orton, and Luke Harper showed up to help Erick Rowan score a win over Roman Reigns.

But if you want another hidden gem match, check out what Cedric Alexander and AJ Styles did on the pre-show. Please green light the Alexander push, Vince!

9. TLC

Tables, Ladders, and Chairs was a mighty fine Pay Per View with a CRAZY main event for the Women’s Tag Titles. TLC main events can be some of the most nail-biting matches in a given year, and Kairi Sane and Asuka vs. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair was no exception. These four women killed it, putting it all on the line to make the Women’s Tag Titles feel more than worthy of the main event spot.

Other highlights include Aleister Black vs. Buddy Murphy stealing the show after The New Day and The Revival opened it up with an absolutely banging ladders match.

However, the other matches on the card didn’t hold up as well. Another women’s match was sorely missed on this card.
