Lynch can gain strength heading to WrestleMania 36

If Lynch v Asuka III doesn’t take place at WrestleMania 36, whoever Lynch faces at the Showcase of the Immortals will be a massive story.

Asuka has shown an ability to humanize The Man. Her ability to show Lynch as a vulnerable champion only adds strength to Lynch’s eventual win. It has given Lynch another layer to her character and one that fans can believe in.

Assuming that Lynch’s opponent will not be Asuka, the next question is who will it be? We don’t know who that opponent is yet. We do know that Lynch will head to WrestleMania 36 stronger than before due to finally defeating Asuka at the Royal Rumble.

Asuka is the strongest competitor that Lynch has faced since her feud with Sasha Banks. The stronger the opponent, the stronger the hero will look by defeating the villain. That is why, if Lynch defeats Asuka at the Royal Rumble, she will be elevated to a new level.

As Lynch heads to WrestleMania 36, she would have defeated a who’s who in women’s wrestling. Everyone from Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, Natalya, Sasha Banks, and possibly Asuka will have fallen to Lynch. Whoever steps in the ring next with Lynch will have instant credibility just by being in a match with a champion of Lynch’s stature.

The story of Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 should be stronger after Lynch finally defeats Asuka at the Royal Rumble.
