This is WWE, the hero always wins

With a few exceptions, one thing has remained the same: WWE is a company where the fan favorite always wins in the end. Lynch is the hottest fan favorite in WWE, so it makes sense for her to finally conquer her nemesis Asuka at the Royal Rumble.

The excitement of this feud stems from the question, how Lynch will find victory? Will this be a match where Asuka, in defeat, looks stronger than ever before? Can Lynch steal the hearts of fans across the world by overcoming the odds to defeat Asuka?

For over a year now, Lynch has been a force in WWE. Her ability to gather wins leading up to a contest with Asuka will only make the eventual victory that much sweeter. The story that WWE has been telling with their rivalry is one with a traditional conclusion: the hero overcomes all odds to defeat her biggest rival in the middle of the ring.

This isn’t a new concept for WWE. It has been one that they have told since the beginning of time. One thing that is new is the level of vulnerability that Asuka has brought out of Lynch. Lynch appears to not only be the champion, but also the underdog.

If their match follows the traditional WWE storytelling, then Lynch will have her hand raised at the end of the night after Asuka taps out in the middle of the ring. Lynch will have the crowd in the palm of her hand as she defeats her biggest rival.
