WWE Rumors: Paul Heyman personally wanted Liv Morgan in wedding angle
While some members of the WWE Universe may wonder why Liv Morgan was randomly inserted into the Lana/Lashley angle, Paul Heyman is really keen on pushing Liv Morgan.
After about a month or so of vignettes teasing a return, Liv Morgan appeared on WWE’s final episode of Raw of the decade to reveal that she had a previous relationship with Lana during the latter’s wedding to Bobby Lashley.
While that is a twist that certainly has not sat well with all fans (mostly due to its execution), some fans are just scratching their heads because Liv Morgan’s inclusion into the angle in itself seems to come out of left field. For those wondering why Liv was added to the angle, it’s all because of Paul Heyman.
According to a report from Wrestlingnews.co (h/t Cagesideseats), Liv Morgan was never originally planned to be apart of the Raw wedding segment or the Lana/Lashley angle at all, but Heyman decided to add Liv because he is keen on pushing her.

As Raw’s backstage executive director (head booker and matchmaker) Paul Heyman has been the mastermind of the entire Lana/Lashley/Rusev angle from the start and as Wrestlingnews.co also points out that Heyman has the next few weeks of storytelling “mapped out” with some “Jerry Springer stuff coming.”

Love or hate the angle overall, expect to see much more of it in the coming weeks and expect Liv Morgan to play a key role in the storyline now that Heyman’s interested in pushing her.
