Result: Jon Moxley
Rating: **** (4 stars)
Another excellent match, as Jon Moxley continues to show that he is not Dean Ambrose anymore. Moxley is one of the hottest acts in wrestling right now, and is right at home in NJPW. NJPW. As Moxley was celebrating, Kaze Ni Nare hit, and the crowd went insane! Minoru Suzuki made his way down to the ring. Chris Charlton informed us that Moxley saw a match between Tanahashi & Suzuki that made him want to come to NJPW to wrestle him. It seems like it’s going to happen!
Suzuki had a huge smile on his face, as the crowd cheered wildly. Suzki was in his gear and ready for a fight! Suzuki has been laying low since around the G1, as there were rumours that he was going to leave NJPW, but it seems like he isn’t now. Both men started brawling once they were in the ring, and Suzuki locked on the sleeper hold and hit the Gotch Style piledriver!
Suzuki grabbed a mic and said “Who do you think you are picking a fight with? I am the king of pro wrestling, and the fight you are picking, I am picking it up.” NJPW is giving me exactly what I want, as I wanted this match as soon as Moxley came to NJPW. They are going to have a wild brawl and beat the crap out of each other. I can’t wait.
