With 2020 now upon us, The EST of NXT has to break out of the field. A feud with Rhea Ripley – that ends in Belair holding up the NXT Women’s Championship – makes a great deal of sense.
There are many ways to turn Belair back into a fan favorite. Her prior feud with Shayna Baszler showed that she can tug on the heart strings of every fan in the audience. In the weeks leading up to that match, she showed an excellent ability to connect with the fans. When fans saw her cry after the match, it was felt through the television screen.
