Taya Valkyrie (c) vs. Jordynne Grace vs. ODB – Knockouts Championship

Taya Valkyrie had been ducking challenges from Jordynne Grace for months on end, Valkyrie could not deny Grace an opportunity after Big Mama Pump pinned her in a Six Woman Tag Team Match on Oct. 29. Of course, Taya kept trying to avoid her, but the ducking was over as soon as Jordynne Grace vs. Taya Valkyrie for the Knockouts Championship was made official for Hard to Kill.

Yes, this match originally started as a one-on-one bout, but it quickly turned into a Three Way Dance once former four time Knockouts Champ and bonafide legend, ODB, came into the mix.

ODB returned to IMPACT on Dec. 3 to call for donations after her food truck was burnt down (which you can actually donate to at this link, so please consider doing so if you can), but after some harsh words from the current champion, ODB was goaded into a match that she won, granting her access into this bout.

I feel like this one can go either way. IMPACT have been building towards Grace winning the big one for several months now. However, after everything ODB has been through in real life, it would make for such a heartwarming moment to have her win her fifth championship in a nice, feel good moment.

But rather than build towards a feel good moment, I think IMPACT will opt to continue building days to Valkyrie’s longest reign record. In the process, it’ll prolong Grace’s inevitable title win, but with ODB in the match, perhaps ODB gets pinned so that Grace still has a claim towards another title match, especially since she has yet to receive a one-on-one shot against Valkyrie.

Prediction: Taya retains
