WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 5 potential entrants for No. 30 in the Women’s Rumble
Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey not only coming into the 2020 Royal Rumble as the final entrant, but also winning is something that has been speculated practically ever since the day she lost her Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania. Just because it is the perfect, no brainer booking to get us that much desired Mania main event sequel between Lynch and Rousey.
There’s only two things keeping this from becoming a reality. One is that Rousey may not be ready to return yet from her “impregnation vacation” (which, ew). The other thing being just because it sounds like such a predictable no brainer, and we all know how WWE loves to throw that last big swerve at us. Just when we think we know the answer, they change the question, right?
But here’s the thing: being predictable isn’t the worst thing in the world. In fact, predictable can be re-assuring to a lot of fans. A lot of us predicted that Becky Lynch would somehow steal herself a spot into last year’s Royal Rumble match to win it all, but that did not stop it for being an amazing moment worth applauding.
If Ronda Rousey returning for a Rumble spot/win makes the fans happy, thus opening the door to Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania 36 (which will only make the fans even happier), then please, by all means, throw us a no brainer. We’ll still pop for it.
