Liv Morgan’s character switch has been long anticipated and much needed, but unfortunately, this switch may have come at the expense of The Riott Squad as a whole.

Liv’s new face turn (in comparison to the heel role she played as a part of the Riott Squad) is a breath of fresh air for the WWE Superstar.

During her time in the Riott Squad, it seemed like her character was muddled into the background of the group. The WWE universe never got the opportunity to see Liv flourish when she was a part of the Riott Squad, so this new solo saga that has commenced with Lana and Bobby Lashley is a beguiling twist.

So enticing, consequently, that Lana and Lashley will be facing Liv and the Russian Brute, Rusev, in a mixed tag team match next week on Monday Night Raw.

Liv Morgan’s character switch will ultimately cause the demise of The Riott Squad for good as it doesn’t seem like her new character is going to be doing whatever her friends tell her too anymore. This is evident from the promos that WWE promoted before Morgan returned to Raw during Lashley & Lana’s wedding.

Undoubtedly, the demise of the Riott Squad will cause an intense rivalry to develop between Liv Morgan & former Riott Squad leader, Ruby Riott, upon Ruby’s return. Moreover, this will leave Sarah Logan (the last member of the Riott Squad) on the outskirts, where she will ultimately turn into a face role as well, by trying to bring the band back together (although she will ultimately fail due to Liv’s disapproval).

Upon realizing that the Riott Squad is officially over, Logan will side with Liv to create their own tag team after placing all of the blame of the group’s failures on the leader Ruby.

While this does not bode well for Ruby Riott, together Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan can show their true dominance as a tag team to earn themselves a shot at tag team gold (something the Riott Squad was unable to accomplish).

The Women’s Tag Team Titles are extremely new, which means there is plenty of history to be made in being one of the first women to say that they held the tag team titles. If this isn’t enough motivation for Liv and Sarah, who knows what will be?

With the Riott Squad no more, and with Liv & Sarah forming their own tag team, what’s in store for Ruby Riott upon her return? Well, let’s just say Ruby has options!

Ruby can either begin her solo wrestling career, which she is certainly ready for, or may even bring in back up to keep the feud between her and former Riott Squad members Liv & Sarah alive.

A potential partner for Riott could be a new WWE signee in Mercedes Martinez. Not only would these two women make a kick butt tag team, but they would also bring some much needed new (and serious faces) to the Women’s Tag Team division.

Each woman’s edgy style brings a pleasant change of scenery in a division that knew nothing other than attractive divas with gorgeous faces and short skirts for decades.

Even if Ruby Riott decides that the solo route is more up her alley and lets go of any possible feud between her and her former partners, Riott will thrive. She has the determination to be on top, especially after being out of commission for so many months due to a shoulder injury.

Liv’s new character is the living embodiment of karma, as we heard her say the last time she was on Raw. Although her new character may mean the end of the Riott Squad as the WWE Universe once knew them, it also has the potential to bring about greatness in each of these ladies’ career individually, and honestly that’s what each wrestler really needs.
