WWE Royal Rumble 2020: Predicting All 30 Entrants In The Men’s Royal Rumble
By Mark Justice
#11: Erick Rowan
Since he has been defeating jobbers weeks on end, Erick Rowan does not necessarily have a rivalry with any particular superstar. However, it’ll be interesting to see how his cage plays a part in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. There are plenty of superstars in that ring who can slither under the bottom rope and peep inside the cage. Whoever does that will definitely elicit a rivalry with Rowan on the road to WrestleMania 36. But honestly, what’s in that cage?
#12: The Miz
Although he never won the Royal Rumble, The Miz main evented WrestleMania 27 against John Cena when he defended his first WWE Championship. Now, he is in a reunited heel tag team with John Morrison and a current rivalry with the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day. It is very likely Big E and Kofi Kingston will be his two targets in this Royal Rumble match. Rest assured, his participation in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match will be AWESOME!
#13: Buddy Murphy
Buddy Murphy was sitting down outside the ring in dismay during Erick Rowan’s match last week on Raw before joining Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain in the main event. If anyone remembers, Murphy was involved in Erick Rowan’s mystery attacker storyline back on SmackDown Live in August. When Roman Reigns was prying for information as to who attacked him in the backstage area, Murphy, who was seen at scene of the crime, had declaimed that Rowan did it. Evidently, he was correct in his allegations once the mystery unfolded. It’ll be interesting to see if the best kept secret interacts with the man who keeps too many secrets in any way but his main target must be the man whom he is obsessed with defeating inside the squared circle: Aleister Black.
#14: Big E
WHO? WHO? WHO? As stated above, Big E will be one of The Miz’s targets. They will square off for the most part until their tag team partners, Kofi Kingston and John Morrison, show up. Expect a lot of gyrating by this man and let’s hope Braun Strowman joins them for a dance break again. Big E has frequently been in the conversation for a breakout singles run, so it’ll be interesting to see if any seeds are planted based on how significant his role will be in the Royal Rumble Match.
#15: Aleister Black
Aleister Black has already defeated Buddy Murphy three times and has nothing to prove to Murphy. However, Murphy is definitely not taking those three straight losses lightly so it would be imprudent of Black to not be fully aware of Murphy trying his best to toss him over the top rope. If he is not fully aware, he will be the one fading to black.
