#21: Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe made a huge return from his thumb injury to help Kevin Owens fend off the new heel faction of Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain. Since he is involved in the biggest rivalry on Monday Night Raw to date, he should be an official entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble. Joe won’t win the Rumble, but he is the type of superstar capable of making plenty of eliminations. While he remains focused on avenging Seth Rollins and now Buddy Murphy for the heinous attacks delivered to him while he was on commentary, he would be a prime candidate to get more eliminations than Kane or Roman Reigns ever did. Rest assured, when Joe enters the Rumble, he will show no mercy.

#22: Kofi Kingston

Former WWE Champion and current SmackDown Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston deserves the moniker of Mr. Royal Rumble, thanks to his creative and staggering Royal Rumble saves every year. Like Big E, he should also be focusing on The Miz and John Morrison. However, unlike Big E, Kingston is the sleeper pick to win this year’s Royal Rumble and has an extra target: Brock Lesnar. As The Miz stated on SmackDown, he respects Kingston for his six-month championship reign as much as he appreciates the six seconds it took for him to lose it to Brock Lesnar.

Although it would be humorous to put Kingston as #6 in the Royal Rumble Match, it actually took Kingston eight seconds to lose the WWE Championship. Many have speculated as to why Kingston has not addressed his sensible revenge on Lesnar as of yet. This would be an opportune moment for Kingston to eliminate Lesnar from the Rumble and set up a WWE Championship rematch for WrestleMania 36, which will hopefully last longer. When Kofi locks eyes with Lesnar in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, it will surely be trouble in paradise.

#23: Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is the top babyface on Monday Night Raw and rightfully so. His rivalry with Seth Rollins and Authors of Pain has helped make Raw watchable every Monday as it tends to close the show with a bang every chance it gets. Like Joe, Owens will be targeting Seth Rollins and his disciple, Buddy Murphy. The Royal Rumble is Owens’ playground. His slogan reads, ‘Fight Owens Fight,’ and he will do just that.

#24: John Morrison

John Morrison‘s return to the WWE was expected to be more significant than it turned out to be, but it has still been a pleasure to see him back inside the squared circle. With rumors circulating on Morrison’ return to the WWE a month ago, many thought Morrison would make a surprise return at the Royal Rumble. Since the WWE Universe will no longer get that surprise, it would be in WWE’s best interest to submit to popular demand and enter Morrison into the Rumble to help his tag team partner, The Miz, fend off their main rivals, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Like Kingston, Morrison is adept at performing Royal Rumble saves as well. Seeing the guru of greatness implement his parkour skills to perfection will definitely be worthwhile.

#25: Seth Rollins

CrossFit Jesus won the Royal Rumble in 2019. Since Seth Rollins considers himself the Monday Night Messiah, entering the Rumble at #25 would be fitting. Although it is improbable he will win two Royal Rumbles in two successive years, this will be Rollins’ chance to be a Christ-like figure and assist his disciple, Buddy Murphy, in eliminating his arch nemesis, Aleister Black. Once Rollins does that, Murphy can help his savior fend off Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. Rest assured, when Rollins participates in the Men’s Royal Rumble, he will be ready to burn it down and lead the way.
