Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin [Falls Count Anywhere Match]

Roman Reigns and King Corbin make their way to the ring. King Corbin takes his time to get to the ring but Reigns is sick of it and attacks him right off the bat to start the match. Reigns gains control early on in this match with a Back Suplex.

King Corbin rallies back with a Deep Six and a two-count. He tosses Reigns outside the ring and head shots Reigns with the steel steps. They then take the fight to the crowd but Corbin gains back control after hitting Reigns with a TV monitor. He pins Reigns for the two-count.

Reigns attempts the Superman Punch but Corbin counters with a Chokeslam into the Spanish Announce Table for the two-count. They take the fight back to the crowd and Reigns delivers a Samoan Drop to King Corbin through the production desk table.

Reigns delivers another Samoan Drop to Corbin through the table for the two-count. Corbin rallies back by driving Reigns’ back into the steel crates. To no one’s surprise, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler run in to help Corbin beat up Reigns. Usos run in to even the odds and take out RooDolph.

Unfortunately, Ziggler delivers a Superkick to Jey Uso and Ziggler and Roode toss him into more steel crates. Jimmy Uso goes Uso crazy and flies outta nowhere with a flying crossbody to Ziggler and Roode to save his brother.

Corbin runs in to deliver a back suplex to Jimmy Uso onto the steel crate. Reigns runs in to deliver two Superman punches to Corbin, and we’re back to square one. Reigns tosses Corbin into a Johnny’s toilet and tosses it over, leaving Corbin lying in a heap.

They continue to fight in the crowd area. Since this PPV is occurring in a baseball stadium, Reigns and Corbin are on top of the bull pen. Corbin delivers a chair strike to Reigns but Reigns rallies back with a Spear on top of the bull pen for the three-count and the victory.

Result: Roman Reigns

Grade: 3.25/5.0 Stars

Analysis: Solid demolition derby! Great way to start off the show! The crowd loves Roman Reigns. Could this be a sign of things to come in the Men’s Royal Rumble later on in the night? We shall see, but the Big Dog finally gets his win over King Corbin. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe have a backstage interview to talk about their Men’s Royal Rumble aspirations.
