Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler seems like the most obvious pick to be at WrestleMania 36. For months, fans have expected her and Becky Lynch to be on a collision course for WrestleMania, with rumors still indicating that this will be the Raw Women’s Championship match despite Charlotte eliminating Shayna to close the Royal Rumble match.

The Queen of Spades was one of the most dominant champions in NXT history before dropping the title to rising babyface star Rhea Ripley, and she and Becky had some amazing back-and-forths on the mic during the build to the Survivor Series main event.

Baszler seems like a lock to face Lynch at WrestleMania, barring an ill-advised, late build to a Ronda Rousey match. While Baszler has her critics, a rivalry and match between Shayna and Becky should be a memorable one.

Adam Cole

NXT Champion Adam Cole had a sensational 2019, as he went from “star” to “superstar” as the leader of a top-notch faction. The Undisputed Era held all the gold for the better part of 2019, with Cole upping his match quality to a new level. That was important for Cole, as it’s easy to get outshined in a stable that includes Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, who are among WWE’s best pure wrestlers.

Cole even received “Superstar of the Year” love for his 2019, and while that’s a massive leap when compared to what the likes of Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley accomplished that year, Cole is definitely somewhere in the top 10.

A big match at WrestleMania could in the cards for Cole, who has the name value, star power, and all-around ability to have a title match at the Show of Shows.
