Ricochet

Ricochet was the biggest winner on the Feb. 3 episode of WWE Raw, as he defeated Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins in the show’s fiery main event to become the new No. 1 contender to Brock Lesnar’s WWE Championship.

The One and Only will face The Beast at WWE’s Saudi Arabia show later this month, and the odds of him winning in the build to WrestleMania 36 are extremely low. But expect Ricochet to put on a classic with Lesnar. Ricochet and Lesnar can tell a captivating story in the ring, and Ricochet’s agility and underrated physical strength will come into play.

A former NXT North American Champion, Ricochet is a wrestler Paul Heyman appears to be high on and for good reason. This feud with Lesnar can bring out the best in Ricochet and set in motion a future world title victory, perhaps even in 2020.

Ruby Riott

Between Angel Garza’s appearance and Ruby Riott’s return, Raw was full of surprises this week. The former Riott Squad leader teased reuniting with Liv Morgan after the latter’s easy win over Lana, but she ended up attacking Liv, much to Lana’s delight.

Are Lana and Ruby aligned? I’m not so sure, but Ruby vs. Liv is going to be a major feud on Raw this month. With how easily Liv has beaten Lana, it’s clear that they aren’t in the same league. Liv is moving on to a bigger and better rivalry with Ruby. and I am excited to see how the story develops.

Not only could the matches between Liv and Ruby be excellent, but the promos should be on another level. Liv has shown that she has the ability to be a great babyface on Monday nights, while Ruby’s heel work will once again earn her plaudits from fans.
