WWE: 5 dream matches for WrestleMania 36
With WrestleMania 36 coming around the corner, now seems like a good time to predict five Mania matches we are dying to see WWE add to the card.
As of this writing, there are still 57 days to go before WWE delivers us WrestleMania for the 36th year in a row. Viewed as the wrestling equivalent to the Super Bowl, Mania is by and large an extravaganza where wrasslin’ lovers from across the globe can gather together not only to celebrate wrestling, but rejoice as dream matches take place that could only take place on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
So far at least, the only match announced for Mania’s card is Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar, which in itself is a dream match taking place for the first time ever. But surely, that can’t be the only dream match we see take place this year.
Rather than just speculate what other matches could happen this year at the Showcase of the Immortals, this list sets out to simply dream of matches that sound plausible enough to happen, but grand enough to be deserving of its placement of the card. Almost in a “too good to be true” sort of fashion.
Let’s start with another first time ever encounter that has been teased for months now.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Daniel Bryan
This is a match that seemed to find its storyline footing as soon as Daniel Bryan turned down Sami Zayn’s offer to join his stable. However, rather than capitalize on the moment, WWE opted to progress Bryan’s feud with The Fiend instead.
Now that said feud is over, The Yes Man’s schedule has re-opened and hopefully, so will his feud with Team Zayn. Specifically, with the former Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
I think we can all agree that with or without a title on the line, this match is a classic waiting to happen.
