WWE Elimination Chamber 2020: 5 possible challengers for Brock Lesnar
Ricochet
Ricochet, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, and even Aleister Black could be great candidates for the final spot. Orton is busy feuding with Edge and Black can’t afford to take any losses, so those two are out.
Garza and Carrillo would be great picks as rising stars, but they probably don’t have enough star power to be in the match; they also have their United States Title storyline to worry about. Ricochet could get another crack at Lesnar after the Saudi Arabia show, and he’d be perfect for an Elimination Chamber match.
For pure entertainment value, out of a desire to have another babyface in the match besides Kevin Owens, and because WWE should have more than just one breakout star in the mix, I’d like to see Ricochet as one of the six men competing for Brock Lesnar’s title.
Ricochet is a true underdog babyface – by virtue of his size, because, well, that’s how Vince McMahon books things – so he can take a loss in a six-man match after impressing in a loss to Lesnar at Saudi Arabia. He’s still early into his main roster career, so the performances matter more than the results. People remember heart and talent – not who came up short in these kinds of matches, especially when a guy like Lesnar is already expected to win.
I could see Ricochet stealing the show inside the chamber with his boundless creativity, in-ring IQ, and jaw-dropping acrobatics. He absolutely must score one big elimination, maybe two.
