Angel Garza

While Angel Garza is a heel and wouldn’t face Andrade one-on-one in a title match, the intricate nature of this storyline leaves open the possibility for Zelina to still walk away with one of her clients holding the only full-time male singles belt on WWE Raw right now.

Garza is an absolute star already, and the call to put him on Raw was brilliant. Sure, he still had a lot to give on NXT, but there’s nothing saying he can’t split duties between both shows for a little bit.  But that would be exhausting. Plus, Garza’s star is so bright that he belongs on Raw. Just look at the way he connects with the audience. The man is brimming with confidence, and he knows exactly how to play into his charm and handsomeness for the WWE Universe.

It’s a shame, though, that Garza’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship reign had to end so quickly. He was becoming the brightest star on 205 Live, in addition to being one of the rising stars in NXT. But WWE wants to bring 205, NXT, and NXT UK closer together with the “ace” Jordan Devlin, and, judging by his upcoming match with Lio Rush, the plan is already working.

But we still want to see Garza as a champion in WWE. Since he’s done so well already, don’t rule out his chances of swooping in and winning a Triple Threat or Fatal Four-Way match to becoming the United States Champion as Andrade’s successor.
