WWE: 5 possible opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36

4. Braun Strowman

Some long time, older readers may recall that there were rumors way back in 2016 heading into WrestleMania 32 that Braun Strowman would be facing The Undertaker at The Show of Shows, mere months removed from the former’s in-ring debut.

If that match was ever truly on the table, it was reportedly nixed either because there was backlash from fans once the news hit the internet, or because Taker nixed it personally because he did not want to work on the most watched wrestling event of the year with a wrestler who was so green.

If the latter was true, then the former WWE Champion may not have a problem accepting a match with The Monster Among Men now in 2020. In four years time, Strowman has legitimately refined his in-ring game and – for a man his size especially – turned into a great wrestler, hence why he is now holding his first singles title; the Intercontinental Championship.

If a match between The Undertaker and Braun Strowman does wind up back on the table in time for WrestleMania 36, then one has to wonder if Strowman would have to put his belt on the line to help add some intrigue into their bout.
