Keep the mystique around him

WWE has done a wonderful job of building up Aleister Black as a potential world champion on Monday nights by having him literally beat everyone on sight. The man is undefeated and seems undefeatable, which is a huge credit to his booking. See, he isn’t just beating people, but he is doing so convincingly, even when he’s tested by another great competitor.

His feud with Buddy Murphy was done perfectly. The four straight losses sustained by Murphy didn’t damage the Cruiserweight Champion, but rather served as a catalyst for his alignment with Seth Rollins’ merciless main event faction. Murphy still looked like a formidable foe in each defeat, which served to make Black seem even more larger than life.

Black can increase his profile to the cusp of main event status by beating Styles multiple times. Styles is already established as one of the biggest stars in wrestling history and can easily recover from tough losses by beating other veteran performers of similar status.

But now that Styles is nearing the end of his career, the focus has to be on his status being used to help rising stars like Black. Given what WWE have invested in the undefeated Black so far, there is absolutely no reason for him to take a loss or even NOT win this match straight up.
