WWE Elimination Chamber 2020: 3 Reasons Why Andrade Should Retain
Let The Babyface Keep Chasing
Humberto Carrillo has all the tools to be one of the best babyfaces on Raw in 2020, which is undoubtedly why Paul Heyman has done his best to push the former 205 Live superstar in the Red Brand’s mid-card scene.
Although Carrillo has been chasing Andrade for some time now, it would be better for him to get his big title win at WrestleMania 36. There’s nothing wrong with Carrillo winning the championship at the Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, but since Andrade only just returned from a suspension, why not be a little bit more patient with Carrillo’s win?
Carrillo and Garza did a great job of advancing this rivalry during Andrade’s absence, but there’s nothing quite like the heel dynamic between Andrade and Zelina. Although it’s a familiar sight to see them both cheating to win, it’s incredibly effective and would light yet another fire under Carrillo, who has made massive strides as a character over the course of the first two months of 2020.
Like many babyfaces, it seems as though Carrillo is at his best when he’s chasing a goal, and there are few goals more ambitious that ending an Andrade title reign. The man is money with a championship around his waist, and he knows it. He’s willing to do anything to protect his title, including threatening the careers of others, as Carrillo has known all too well.
