The Dirt Sheet (c) vs. Usos vs. The New Day vs. RooDolph vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Lucha House Party [SmackDown Tag Team Championships: Elimination Chamber]

Result: The Dirt Sheet (via pinfall)

Grade: B+

The New Day and The Usos start this Elimination Chamber Match, reigniting their 2017 rivalry. Lucha House Party is the first tag team entrant out of the pod and they deliver picture perfect aerial assaults from the top of the pods.

The SmackDown Tag Team Champions, John Morrison and The Miz, is the second tag team entrant out of the pod and they immediately neutralize all of the tag teams in the chamber with efficient heel work. Lucha House Party is stealing the show as Gran Metalik delivers a Hurricanrana from the top of the pod onto Morrison.

Kofi Kingston rallies back on the champs with knife edge chops and dropkicks but Morrison counters with a Flying Chuck. Meanwhile, Big E delivers Belly to Belly Suplexes to The Miz until Heavy Machinery is the third tag team entrant out of the pod.

Otis delivers the caterpillar and elbow drops Big E. Lince Dorado climbs to the top of the chamber to deliver a Shooting Star Press onto all of the tag teams, except Heavy Machinery. Unfortunately, Heavy Machinery eliminates Lucha House Party with The Compactor for the three count.

RooDolph finally comes out of the pod last, as expected. Heavy Machinery surrounds them and immediately neutralizes Roode and Ziggler. Otis chases Ziggler, but Ziggler climbs up rapidly to top of the pod. Tucker climbs up to the top of the pod to toss Ziggler into Otis’ graps and then delivers a Somersault off the top of the pod to all the other tag teams.

After Otis incidentally runs through the pod and outside the chamber due to Ziggler’s swift dodge, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler deliver a Glorious DDT to Tucker to eliminate Heavy Machinery. Quickly after, The New Day delivers a Trouble in Paradise and Big Ending to RooDolph and Usos delivered Uso Splashes from the top of the pods onto RooDolph to eliminate RooDolph.

Kofi Kingston delivers a miscalculated Frog Splash from the top of the pod onto one of the Usos, but Uso got out of the way while Morrison and The Miz quickly capitalized on pinning Kingston to eliminate The New Day. Usos and Morrison and The Miz are the final two tag teams in the chamber.

The Miz delivers a Skull Crushing Finale to one of the Usos and locks in the Figure 4 Leg Lock while Morrison delivers Starship Pain. Usos break up the pinfall to rally back with Superkicks but it was not enough as Miz and Morrison use leverage from the ropes to pin the Usos, eliminate them, and retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Analysis: Lucha House Party absolutely stole the show in this match with their aerial maneuvers around the chamber. Otis’ spot through the pod was jaw-dropping. The nefarious victory by Miz and Morrison was beautifully done, leaving a sour taste in everyone’s mouth after a hard fought match. The elimination order was as expected with the lower tier tag teams of LHP, HM, and RooDolph getting eliminated first while the higher tier of Usos, The New Day, and Dirt Sheet being the final three. Very fun elimination chamber match, especially for the third ever tag team elimination chamber match in WWE history.
