2.) Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez

With a redemptive tandem coming from Raw, there is also a conniving tandem who could come up from NXT to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships as well. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez have been quite a formidable force to be reckoned with ever since Gonzalez assisted Kai in obtaining a nefarious victory against Tegan Nox at NXT Takeover: Portland.

After Kai defeated Nox in a steel cage match to complete their trilogy, it seems that she was on her way to qualifying for the NXT Women’s Championship Number One Contender’s Ladder Match to finally get an opportunity at dethroning the superstar who left her off of the War Games Team in the first place, NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. However, that does not seem to be the case since she lost her qualifying match to Mia Yim on this week’s NXT.

It is unfortunate that Kai lost her momentum with this loss and might be in jeopardy of being left out of the NXT Takeover: Tampa card. However, she can regain her momentum by taking advantage of her new alliance with Gonzalez and making her way to the WrestleMania 36 card by targeting the Kabuki Warriors’ Women’s Tag Team Championships.

This would be a neat segway to get this new heel tag team into the main roster for post-Mania season. Considering that heel tag teams very rarely battle heel tag teams one on one on the main roster, Kai and Gonzalez could very well be in a triple threat with Kabuki Warriors and Divas of Doom or even in a fatal four way with another top tag team from SmackDown.
