The IIconics

The ability to put on great matches from bell to bell is an important aspect of being a successful professional wrestling. But as this list shows, it’s not always a direct path to elevation on the roster. That brings this conversation back to the IIconics, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. They are two women that have a strong contingent of fans but have been missing from television for an extended period.

When Royce and Kay won the Women’s Tag Team titles back at WrestleMania 35, there was an outcry of both support and disdain. While their title run left much to be desired the situation has become worse in sorts as neither have appeared on television. In fact, according to Cage Match they have not had a match since November of 2019.

Royce and Kay have huge personalities that come across in their characters that keep people engaged and laughing. Their ring work many do not translate in the same fashion, but that’s not all that is needed in the ring. Royce and Kay have a large piece of the equation in place, with more training they could put everything together.

Unfortunately, the WWE hasn’t found a way to utilize them in any fashion at a time when the organization needs more women at the top of the division outside of the Four Horsewomen.
