Thanks to Cain Velasquez’s photo with Ronda Rousey at WWE Headquarters, it seems that Ronda Rousey could be back sooner than the WWE Universe thinks. She probably won’t be back in time for a WrestleMania program, but WWE MITB 2020 is a big enough PPV for Rousey to make a return and get a big win.

Considering that Rousey lost the Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch at last year’s WrestleMania and her Horsewoman ally is Shayna Baszler, a MITB victory could give her an opportunity to cash in on either Lynch or Baszler and win back the Raw Women’s Championship.

Since Rousey is an honorable fighter, she might even take the John Cena route (or Braun Strowman route) and let Lynch and Baszler know in advance that she will cash in her MITB Briefcase against the Raw Women’s Champion at WWE SummerSlam 2020.

Not only would this provide suspense for another big WWE PPV, but it could even set up a high-stake Raw Women’s Championship triple threat match with Lynch, Baszler, and Rousey. Considering that a high-demand, money-making storyline will be reignited, Rousey winning the MITB Briefcase could very well be something the WWE Universe did not know they wanted.
