NXT on the Map

Wednesday Night Wars has been dominating social media over the past six months and the constant comparisons. While I feel we should be celebrating the different options we have as wrestling fans, it seems inevitable people want to draw battle lines.

Every week we get ratings comparisons and people bragging if their company does well or not. Keeping this in mind, Rhea Ripley has really grown in popularity and it is helping to establish her as a marquee name.

Last fall, NXT became the third brand of WWE, while they have made huge strides working their way into Main Roster status with their weekly cable TV show there is still a good amount of the audience not as familiar with the individual talent.

Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair will bring eyes and interest not only because of the Mania main eventer’s name, but because the sheer curiosity of whether Rhea can conquer the Queen and reign supreme at the showcase of the immortals.

Next. WWE SmackDown will change for the better with Roman Reigns as champ. dark

Defeating Flair on a stage as grand as WrestleMania would not only make Rhea’s credibility more legit, but it may bring even more casual viewers to NXT on a weekly basis to see what black and gold brand has to offer.
