Establish As Raw’s Top Heel

Seth Rollins has sort of worked these past few months as Raw’s de facto top heel. Not so much because he was the top heel, but because the actual top heel was the WWE Champion who only showed up once a month for five minutes at a time. Rollins actually provided a top guy to hate who was actually on television.

With Brock Lesnar expected to go back into the shadows for a while (as he usually does after WrestleMania) whether he retains hiw WWE Championship or not after this weekend, that once again leaves an open spot into the the top heel department.

And unless WWE have plans to introduce a completely new top star to work as a heel (likely with the help of the WWE Draft/Superstar Shakeup, if that even happens this year), Rollins is currently that top candidate.

While he’s already done a stellar job at getting people to hate him, nothing is going to get fans to hate Rollins even more than if he deprives Kevin Owens of his WrestleMania moment. He can use that escalated heel heat to coast as the true blue, undisputed to heel on Monday nights.
