Street Profits (c) vs. Austin Theory and Angel Garza (w/Zelina Vega) [Raw Tag Team Championships]
Result: Street Profits
Rating: 3.0/5.0 Stars
Grade: C+
Street Profits started the match off hot with dropkicks and frequent double team moves. Austin Theory and Angel Garza gain back control with their own patented double team maneuvers. However, Angelo Dawkins got the hot tag to Montez Ford, who delivered a patented DDT.
Ford delivered a Tope Con Hilo to Austin Theory and Angel Garza delivered a Moonsault to Street Profits outside the ring as well as inside the ring to Montez Ford for the two-count. Ford gains back control with a Step-Up Enziguiri and delivered a hot tag to Angelo Dawkins.
Angelo Dawkins got caught in a Twilt-A-Whirl DDT by Austin Theory, but Ford delivered a Frog Splash to Austin Theory to break up the pinfall, allowing Dawkins to pin Theory for the three-count and the retention. Garza and Theory attacked Street Profits after the match and Zelina Vega delivered a Superkick to Montez Ford after the match. Bianca Belair made her debut on the main roster at WrestleMania by coming in to help the Street Profits fend off this tandem and delivered the Kiss of Death to Zelina Vega to end this post-match attack on a happy note.
Analysis: Street Profits retaining against The A-Team was the right decision. They won the championships very recently and it would not make sense to take the championships off of them just yet, especially against a randomly formed tag team like Austin Theory and Angel Garza. The debut of the EST of NXT made things even sweeter, and it will be exciting to see what she does on the main roster, if she indeed gets called up.
