WWE: 4 ways The Fiend could ‘change’ John Cena after WrestleMania
More aggressive
Or maybe we get the heel turn, with a twist: it’s not actually a heel turn.
Let’s face it, the day John Cena finally turns heel, most of the WWE Universe is going to love every minute of it. Maybe there is a slight chance it could get some kids to cry, but most of the kids who idolized John Cena are now either pre-teens or young adults who would pop massively for a heel Cena.
So, rather than WWE pretend that we’re gonna boo a heel Cena, just keep him babyface, but give him a newfound aggression that matches what a heel would do. Maybe he wrenches in the STF a little too long or a little too tight. Maybe he won’t think twice about bashing someone’s skull (or back, we’re in a PG world now) in with a steel chair.
We have seen Cena act aggressively in the past before, but only in ebbs and flows when the storyline/feud called for him to kick things up a notch, even against his own personal desires to stay righteous. Making aggression – especially for a character who was tortured last weekend about his past Ruthless Aggressions – a permanent fixture of his character could be interesting.
