WWE: 3 feuds for Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania defeat
By Mark Justice
1.) Bobby Lashley
Sheer dominance, eh? Bobby Lashley has long been viewed as a potential Lesnar opponent because of their size similarities, MMA experience, and sheer dominance. In fact, Lashley has been requesting a money-making match with Lesnar ever since he returned to the WWE in 2018.
Although Lashley has accomplished two Intercontinental Championship reigns in his two-year comeback journey thus far, he has been stuck in a storyline with Lana that has quite frankly and unjustifiably lowered his position on Raw. A match with Lesnar should bring him back into the main event scene, where he belongs.
As can be indicated by the rifts that have been drawn between him and Lana after Lana screwed him in his match against Aleister Black at WWE WrestleMania 36, it is very likely that Lashley will find new management to help him regain his dominance on Monday Nights. Since the ship has sailed with Lio Rush, maybe a TNA reunion with MVP would do the trick for Lashley.
MVP already showed interest in helping Drew McIntyre slay Brock Lesnar two months ago. Although that did not end successfully for MVP, he could try his hand with helping his former client, Bobby Lashley, slay Lesnar at some point in 2020.
This duo would not only match the dynamics of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman’s relationship but also help enlighten Lashley’s attributes and capabilities so that the WWE Universe remembers how great and dominant he truly is. With the many losses and lack of great moments Lashley has picked up since returning to the WWE, it’s easy to forget what he can bring to the table and MVP would make sure everyone remembers the tools Lashley has to defeat Lesnar if Lashley does indeed reignite his journey to slaying the Beast in 2020.
