Lacey Evans

Tamina will face Sasha Banks on the Apr. 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, and if she wins, she gets an opportunity to face Bayely in a title match at Money in the Bank. Therefore, it’s highly unlikely she is in this match, and it’s also unlikely she beats Bayley. But she’s probably winning Banks, maybe as a result of a miscommunication between the Boss’N’Hug Connection. That would be the way WWE books it, right?

And while we’re busy predicting what Vince McMahon will do – which is rarely wise, given that he’s insane – I’m guessing we’ll also see Lacey Evans in the Money in the Bank ladder match. I wouldn’t even be surprised if she waltzed right in and announced herself without a qualifying match, with Vince using the logic, “Well, she came close to winning and would have done so without Sasha’s help, so she doesn’t need to qualify like everyone else.”

Because, you know, only Vince thinks Lacey is a babyface we’re all getting behind.

Anyway, Evans would add an interesting dynamic to WWE MITB 2020 ladder match as the babyface who absolutely won’t win and whom the fans won’t want to see win anyway. I know I’m harsh on Evans, but we all know she’d be so much better as a heel on Friday nights. Bayley’s “Role Model” gimmick is such a great jab at her, by the way,
