WWE SmackDown Predictions: Triple H will enter Money in the Bank

4.) Sasha Banks Defeats Lacey Evans to Qualify for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match

Sasha Banks already lost to Tamina on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown and the MITB contract is probably the only way Banks can get her hands on Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at this point.

Considering that Banks is the only superstar in the SmackDown Women’s Division whom Bayley has not defeated one-on-one since the November 2019 draft and since  her momentum is not really in her favor for a future championship opportunity, she should defeat Lacey Evans to qualify for the Women’s MITB Ladder Match.

The WWE has been teasing the breakup of the Boss N’ Hug Connection since the build up to their WrestleMania match. It would be a missed opportunity if Banks is not slated to win the one thing that could make her eventual betrayal of Bayley that much sweeter.

As for Lacey Evans, she can continue her tag team with Naomi, who lost her MITB Qualifying Match against Dana Brooke, and chase after the Women’s Tag Team Championships instead.

3.) Drew Gulak Defeats King Corbin to Qualify for the Men’s MITB Ladder Match

Since King Corbin is involved in a rivalry with Elias and he viciously attacked him backstage on last week’s SmackDown, it is foreseeable that King Corbin will get screwed in this MITB Qualifying Match, thanks to a distraction by Elias.

This will permit Drew Gulak to join his protege, Daniel Bryan, in the MITB Ladder Match and permit the WWE creative to feasibly book a WrestleMania rematch between King Corbin and Elias for WWE MITB 2020.

With Drew Gulak being in the same match with Bryan, there could be rifts drawn in their friendship, as was teased by the hacker himself, Mustafa Ali. At WWE MITB 2020, the truth will most likely be heard regarding all the SmackDown Tandems.

Nonetheless, Drew Gulak is not necessarily the safe bet to win this match but he should, especially after losing to Cesaro at WrestleMania 36. Why should a teacher continuously lose his matches when his student is consistently winning? It’s not a good look for him, so this MITB qualification victory should be his consolation prize.
