WWE SmackDown Predictions: Triple H will enter Money in the Bank

2.) Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross Retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Carmella and Dana Brooke
Since Dana Brooke is already in the Women’s MITB Ladder Match and Bliss Cross Applesauce recently won the Women’s Tag Team Championships from the Kabuki Warriors at WrestleMania 36, Bliss Cross Applesauce should be the safe picks to retain the championships on this week’s Friday Night SmackDown.
As much as many would like to believe that Dana Brooke can do it all, typical WWE booking clearly indicates that won’t be the case.
Many critics were even shocked that Naomi lost her MITB Qualifying Match to Dana Brooke on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown.
As mentioned earlier, the reason for that could be that Naomi and Lacey Evans will be slated to challenge Bliss Cross Applesauce for the tag titles at WWE MITB 2020, if Lacey Evans loses her MITB Qualifying Match to Sasha Banks. This will allow Dana Brooke to focus on the MITB Ladder Match and avoid subjecting herself to double duty at the PPV.
1.) Triple H Enters The Men’s MITB Ladder Match
It’s time to play the game. This week on Friday Night SmackDown, there will be a 25-year anniversary for Triple H. He will most likely announce something huge, whether it be relieving Vince McMahon of his duties for the second time or entering the MITB Ladder Match for the first time. The latter seems more likely, so let’s go with that.
Considering that the MITB Ladder Match this year will be a corporate ladder match, it would not be too far fetched to see a member of the Authority take part in MITB this year. He has never won a MITB Ladder Match, and he might want to add it to his resume and win another championship on the main roster.
Since there is one mysterious spot left from SmackDown’s side in both the men’s and women’s MITB Ladder Match, would it be too bold to say that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon could join the MITB Ladder Matches this year? Yes, it is bold but plausible.
Triple H has never won the Universal Championship, so he could get some Survivor Series 2017 revenge against Braun Strowman, if he won the MITB contract. Even Stephanie McMahon can get some comeuppance on Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch from their WrestleMania 35 build, if she won the MITB contract.
The possibilities are endless. At the end of the day, it’s all about the game and how WWE plays it.
