Montez Ford

Friendly remind that when I say “dream matches,” that is strictly referring to matches which I may be the only person on the planet who will even want to think about these matches, yet alone want to see them. Put Montez Ford vs. John Cena in that category.

Ford has sat so comfortably as one-half of the Street Profits – especially since they won the Raw Tag Team Championships a couple months back – for so long that no one has any singles dream matches for Ford yet.

We’re all just of the sound opinion that we’ll let him have his dream tag team matches alongside Angelo Dawkins before he eventually and inevitably breaks out as the Shawn Michaels of this Rocker duo. However, back in February, he proved that he uis just as ready for the big leagues by himself as he is in a tag team, thanks to a great match he had with one of WWE’s top stars, Seth Rollins.

While we may still be years away from a breakout or tag team breakup, Ford can give us a taste of his potential as the future of the business by having another singles clinic. This time, with the top star of WWE: John Cena.
