Motor City Machine Guns are one of the best tag teams of the mid-2000s with their innovative style. Wrestlers such as Young Bucks and Ricochet have named them as influences. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were mainstays in Total Nonstop Action’s tag team division and X Division. They have held tag team titles in TNA, NJPW, ROH and AAW (All American Wrestling).

Throughout their careers, they had prominent feuds with Young Bucks (Generation Me in TNA), Beer Money and the Dudley Boyz.

Although the Guns had a memorable Best of 5 match series against Beer Money in TNA, the full matches aren’t on YouTube. There are a few clips, which should be included in this list.

Back in 2010, they defended their tag team titles against Bobby Roode and James Storm. After Beer Money went up 2-0, MCMG came back to tie it up. In the final match, the Guns were able to retain their titles in a Two Out of Three Falls match.
