MCMG vs. Team 3D

In 2010, the Guns took on one of tag team wrestling’s best, Team 3D. Brother Ray talks about a fan vote on TNA’s website where both teams for favorite tag team. Matt Morgan was holding the tag team titles by himself. Team 3D wants MCMG to put their No. 1 contendership on the line in this match to face Morgan.

Both teams had an answer for every thing that the other pulled. Team 3D gained the advantage with Shelley in the corner. As soon as Shelly got Sabin in the ring, he single-handley made them pay.

Sabin pinned Brother Devon in the middle of the ring, but the ref was down. Devon had Sabin pinned while Shelley had Brother Ray down. The ref counted to three, but no one knew which team won. The match was ruled a no contest. MCMG were still the No. 1 contenders.

MCMG vs. Young Bucks vs. The Addiction

In 2016, the Machine Guns took on Young Bucks and The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) in Philadelphia. In 2015, Sabin had joined The Addiction. In February 2016 at the 14th Anniversary show, Sabin turned on them and reformed MCMG.

By now, MCMG had long since established themselves as one of the premier tag teams in pro wrestling. The Addiction were also formidable team. Around this time is when the Young Bucks were really getting hot.

This is another fast-paced match and its obvious that all three teams have great chemistry with one another. Shelley had a spot with the Bucks that inspired a “Joey Ryan!” chant from the crowd. The Bucks and MCMG hit Daniels with a simultaneous Superkick on the outside.

Although this match is Young Bucks heavy, MCMG showed off the skills that made them one of the best.
