Xscape Match

This match is tailor-made for the X Division. Last seen on a Lockdown card in 2011, the match begins with all competitors in the ring. Competitors are then eliminated via pinfall or submission until only two wrestlers remain. Once the last two competitors are alone in the ring a victory can only be achieved by escaping the cage, either over the side or through the door.

There have been some truly legendary Xscape matches and hopefully, this will be no different. This would make for the perfect time to re-debut Rich Swann who has not been seen in an Impact ring since his injury at Bash at the Brewery the night before Hard to Kill back in January, right before he and Willie Mack were supposed to challenge for the Tag Team Titles.

It would make a for a great moment for Swann to return in this match type, as it would give him the stage to showcase the high flying death-defying skills that led to both IMPACT and WWE taking a chance on the young talent.

This format could also serve to show just what relative newcomer Chris Bey can do for an IMPACT audience that may yet be unfamiliar with his particular brand of professional wrestling.
